Our association
What we love about Maisons-Laffitte is its village feel, with Paris just a few stops away. Nestled between the Seine and the Saint-Germain-en-Laye forest, the town offers plenty to enjoy—from sports and outdoor activities to culture, workshops and outings.
We created Maisons Sports & Loisirs to bring these activities together in one place, making it easier for people in Maisons-Laffitte and the surrounding area to discover what’s on, book their place and meet others.

Our team
Amal Chambaud
President
Amal co-founded Maisons Sports & Loisirs to bring local activities together on one easy-to-use platform, helping residents find something they enjoy, book their place and meet people in their community.
Originally from Lebanon, she lived in the United States for twelve years before returning to France in 2021. She now lives in Maisons-Laffitte with her husband and their two children, and holds a management position at a company specialising in environmental, health and safety (EHS) compliance solutions.
She also serves as a Town Council Member, responsible for digital technology, the international community and sister-city partnerships.
Unaiza Goplani
Treasurer
Unaiza has called Maisons-Laffitte home for three years and lives here with her husband and two boys.
With a background in luxury management, events and small-business development, she now works for a Parisian vintage and antique jewellery house, combining her professional experience with her love of craftsmanship and heritage.
As treasurer of Maisons Sports & Loisirs, she values the opportunity to support the association’s activities and help manage its finances with care.
Agnes Martinet
Secretary
Agnes is Hungarian and married to a Frenchman. She has called France home for the past 25 years, while also enjoying life as an expat in the United States, Lisbon, and Rome. She is a mother of three: two college students living abroad and a 10-year-old daughter attending Ermitage International School.
With a background in intercultural relations and tourism, Agnes has always been fascinated by cultural differences, human connections, and psychology. She enjoys bringing people together, encouraging meaningful exchanges, and helping others better understand and appreciate different cultural perspectives.
In her free time, Agnes loves playing padel and taking long walks in the forest with her two dogs.
